I'm posting while watching "Batman Begins" the Christopher Nolan one. (:
So, since I've last posted I have finished Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry. I found this book to be phenomenal! I could barely put this book down. The love between Echo and Noah had me in tears by the end. Now, I'm not one for sappy romantic stories (although sometimes I read them just to cleanse my mind), but I do enjoy when the characters have to struggle for that love. Like in Perfect Chemistry where Brittany Ellis, from a pristine neighborhood and a "perfect" family, and Alex Fuentes, from the other side of town and also in a gang, fought for their love to survive and thrive in an environment where it was ridiculed and made seem ridiculous.Mainly, that was the case with Echo and Noah. Only Echo was "crazy" and Noah had a guilt he couldn't let go of.
Ugh. I just loved it.
Update: I am halfway through Passion. I didn't think I'd make it this far. And I have! I have read so many reviews about this series and they are, for the most part, awful. They paint this series as a waste of time and money. And, I don't blame these people. Especially when you find out the ending to this series and why it all started in the first place. I'm still reading it because I want to see how it unfolds.
Another update: About my mom's car. Yeah, that's gone for good. My parents have been out car shopping all week and they've found and amazing car. A 2003 Toyota Civic if I'm not mistaken. Dad took pics and it looks amazing. Plus, there's no rot under the car. FTW!
Welp, that's all chicki-poos (:
Until next time,
The Book Nerd
