I just came back from the library and ended up going to the store next door and bought some books for really cheap. I think I have a problem. Not one I wish to solve, just a problem. :)
Let's see, I bought these: Witch & Wizard by James Patterson
Exit Here by Jason Myers
Art Geeks and Prom Queens by Alyson Noel
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin
All very promising choices. Although I have already read "Speak" and might I say; I found the novel to be very entertaining and enlightening. Another time perhaps (For reviewing). The other four I have not read but I'm hoping to soon. I was bad and I watched the movie for "Something Borrowed" first before I even knew it was a book. I should have checked (And I usually do) but I didn't that time. From what I saw, the story seems to have a good, if not slightly predictable, story line.
Next on the agenda, I also went to the library and I got these to read:
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia
Awake at Dawn by C.C. Hunter
Taken at Dusk by C.C. Hunter
Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter
Underworld by Meg Cabot
Entice by Carrie Jones
I started to read "Beautiful Creatures" a while ago but I couldn't quite get into it. A couple of my friends kept recommending it, but something about it didn't click, so I put it aside and because I REALLY want to see the movie I'm going to attempt read it again. I hope all goes well. I'm not sure if you knew but all the rest are either the second and/or third books in a few series. I'm excited to get a start on "Awake at Dawn". I mean, I mowed through "Born at Midnight" so fast you think I'd just opened it and I was done. I'm close to being finished with "Obsidian" I just have about 61 pages to go; if you don't include the bonus chapters, that is. So, I'll be starting on these soon. And, of course, reviewing them too.
Until next time,
The Book Nerd
