The Underworld

So I've started reading "Underworld" by Meg Cabot and I have to say. I'm a little dissappointed. That being said, I'm only about 49 pages into the novel. I wish that she had tried to recap just a bit, considering people don't usually start ro read the next book in a series until they can get their hands on it and that's not usually for a while; then again that might be just me.

I enjoy the fact that she's showing the relationship between John and Pierce as something not picture perfect. She tends to insult him without meaning to, but he takes that to heart and you can see that he's trying to make her comfortable, well, as much as he possbily can. The way he just left her and didn't let her explain what she was trying to say was a little dramatic, but then again he is a death deity.

I just want to say that I may also be trying to review "Beautiful Creatures" by Kami Garcia as well. I may not be as far ahead as I should be but I'm okay with that. I'll try and post a picture soon. :) Enjoy
