Problems

I am on page 95 of "Taken at Dusk."

Both Kylie and I are having out fair share of problems. Kylie is suffering the lost relationship she had with Derek and the new one with Lucas. The constant threat of danger, and still the unrelenting assault of not knowing who she is. I on the other hand, am just having a rather bad day.

I must say, I am enjoying this book more than I did "Awake at Dawn". Team Lucas all the way, poo poo on Derek. Derek's pride means more to him than trying to salvage a relationship with the girl he "cares" for. Seriously?! Why would he let something like a little problem get in his way? I would think he would try to learn how to fix or control it and then they could have been perfectly happy together, but no he just has to go and be a stubborn ass and make out with that girl. Ugh! Sorry, I just......really don't like Derek.

Lucas on the other hand, oh my goodness. He's sweet, caring, and little weirdly creepishly protective of Kylie. I just think that his attitude towards this whole situation with her is just what she needs. He's trying not to suffocate her, but at the same time he's also still trying to get to know her better and start a relationship. Ahh, perfect.

Time to read more!
Oh and the one good thing about today, I got new glasses! :) Gotta love new glasses.
