Sorry I didn't post yesterday, it was my big brother's birthday. He's now 19. He's very sick right now, so yesterday was more of a family day. Now time for a little review.
I'm reading both "Taken at Dusk" by C.C. Hunter, and "Beautiful Creatures" by Kami Garcia. I'm getting more into "Taken at Dusk" than "Beautiful Creatures", so my reviews may just be a bit more about "Taken at Dusk" than the other.
Kylie continues her adventures in this next novel of the Shadow Falls series. Derek still seems to be the biggest dick around, even Lucas is behaving better, and he's a werewolf. That's saying something. I feel like Derek is taking out un-needed anger against Kylie, about her feelings for Lucas. Sure, she was attracted to him, but it's not like she was going to act on the feelings. Personally, I think I've already said I'm on Team Lucas, I believe Kylie should just forget both of them for now, and focus on her mission to find out what the hell she is. And she's sort of doing that. Not as much as I think she should, but she's doing it. I gotta give her props for that.
